Sr. Field People Services Manager – Knoxville, TN


This is a Full-time position in Atlanta, GA posted March 18, 2021.

Position Summary:The Senior Field People Services Manager will provide strategic and tactical human resources leadership reporting to the VP, People Experience and partnering with the Field Operations Leaders and employees.

This role will proactively partner on initiatives to help drive business growth and Krystal Restaurant LLC core people processes.

Primary areas of accountability center on Employee Relations, Talent Management, Succession Planning, Change Management and HR Capability building with field operations.

Builds trusted relationships with operations leaders to provide support that ensures the successful execution of all People Strategies, Processes, and tools within Human Resources programs and services that supports Krystal Restaurant LLC strategic priorities.Key Responsibilities:* Manage and/or partner to execute the overall Talent Life Cycle: Recruiting, Interviewing, Onboarding, Training & Development, Retention Performance Management, Succession Planning.* Talent Management
– Partners with Field Recruiting Manager and Operations Leaders to identify gaps, plans to address and execution of recruitment strategies that ensures the attraction and selection of high potential talent and developing a strong field talent pipeline.* Succession Planning
– Partners with VP, People Experience, and Sr.

Field Leadership in the facilitation of People planning to include assessing and developing internal candidates and identify high potential employees.* HR Capability Building
– Partners with operational leaders in assessing HR needs and capability building in the field to include but not limited to; Performance Management, Legal Compliance, Effective investigations to reduce risk.* HR Compliance
– Partners with the VP People Experience, legal and field operators to ensure that HR policies and procedures are adhered to as well as ensuring that restaurants are compliant with Federal, State and local laws.* Employment Relations
– Provides consultation support to operations leaders addressing environmental concerns, employee complaints and performance issues with conducting investigations to provide a recommendation to resolve.* Relationships-Build effective relationships as trusted advisor and confident to business leaders and employees that leads to strong buy-in and sponsorship.Additional Duties & Responsibilities:* Partners with the VP People Experience to ensure proper administration and enforcement of company Guiding Principles and policies are followed.* Partners, collaborates and problem solves with the VP People Experience and the RSC HR team around gaps in the execution of core HR policies/practices.* Partners with the Field Leaders on coaching and development of Performance Development Plans along with the execution of the Performance Discussion process.* Lead other field or companywide projects as identified.* Perform other duties as assigned.Education & Experience Requirements:BS degree in Business, Human Resources Management or related field* Minimum of 8+ years Human Resources Generalist experience; preferably in the restaurant industry* Experience providing strategic advice, coach and counsel to an exempt and non-exempt employee population in a dynamic highly complex environment.

Must be flexible and adapt to changing needs.* PHR/SPHR, preferably* Able to work remote in a home office with minimum supervision* Able to travel 50%* Strong PC skills to include Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) required.
