Shipment Inspection Manager (SIM)

A well-funded service-oriented tech company is looking for Local Shipment Inspection Managers.

The ideal candidates are self-motivated, well-organized people with an understanding of working from home or arranging a home office.

We aim at building a reliable network of SIMs all across the country to ensure shipping is made with the least damage ratio possible. Our SIMs perform a visual inspection of shipments delivered, enter the information on damages discovered into the system thus providing valuable data for further analysis.

Job Requirements:

As a Shipment Inspection Manager, your duties and responsibilities include the following:

• Daily dashboard checks to keep up to date with all the tasks assigned

• Prepare for package deliveries

• Perform a detailed inspection of the packaged delivered

• Prepare and provide reports to supervising team regarding damages discovered

• Consolidate or split the shipments according to instructions received

• Drop off the packages to corresponding carrier offices

Requirements:

• 21+ years old;

• Basic PC skills (web browsing, opening and printing PDFs);

• Functioning PC and printer at home;

• Driver’s license and the vehicle.
