*Primary Location: *6325 Peachtree Dunwoody Rd, Atlanta, GA, USA *Division: *Cox Automotive *Job Level: *Director/Senior Director *Travel: *No *Schedule: *Full-time *Shift: *Day Job *Requisition Number: *202101049 The Senior Director, Product Management is responsible for partnering with product leaders, business leaders, technology leaders, and other stakeholders to lead and champion the development of new and evolution of existing products that delight clients, meet strategic and financial business objectives.

This individual will play a key role in driving product innovation within current and new market segments that will enable the Logistics business to achieve its growth ambition.

This individual will lead a team of Product Managers and Product Owners that is focused on successful product development through proper assessment, planning, requirement gathering, prioritization and execution.

This individual should demonstrate a passion for understanding client needs and pain points, identifying opportunities for innovation and translating those opportunities into a strategic product roadmap.

This leader will build and nurture strong relationships with Business, Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales and Operations stakeholders to evaluate opportunities, align on priorities and drive results against a common set of objectives.

*Responsibilities: * * Provide strong leadership and evangelism of the product vision and strategy, clearly communicating the vision and strategy to teams and inspiring them to develop innovative solutions that fit into the broader strategic framework * Lead the overall management of products in the Manheim Logistics (Ready Logistics, Central Dispatch) portfolio through the full product lifecycle, including the creation and execution of new products and features as well as enhancements, extensions and retirements of existing products * Champion product discovery efforts to ensure that product solutions are client and market driven * Lead a broader product team with a proven track record in recruiting and leading top talent; maintain and improve the team’s knowledge and expertise * Instill a culture of domain expertise within the team
– product, market, and competitors * Collaborate with clients, partners and internal team members to understand market needs and trends, and translate them into clear product strategies, execution and go-to-market plans * Responsible for managing the product delivery cycle and share responsibility with user experience and engineering for on-time delivery of products * Prioritize projects among competing opportunities, balance customer needs with business priorities, and articulate business rationale behind decisions * Champion continuous process improvements within the Product, User Experience, and Engineering teams to both grow and develop team members and to drive greater efficiencies in the product delivery pipeline * Actively develop talent within the product organization and create bench strength for all product teams including immediate succession * Ensure that KPIs are established for existing and new products to drive intended outcomes * Collaborate with peers across the Cox Automotive product portfolio to identify, design and deliver integrated solutions that create unique value for clients and team members Qualifications: * 12+ years of experience in Product Management/Product Development, Software Engineering, User Experience or related functions, with at least 7 years of experience in a leadership role * Demonstrated experience in driving business growth through product innovation * Ability to build strong working relationships across the organization at all levels * Must be a proactive, decisive leader who takes initiative and demonstrates a high level of accountability * Ability to effectively lead and communicate in a matrixed organizational model * Strong analytical and cross-functional product development background * Must be comfortable conveying the value of new and emerging products, technologies or applications to senior management and across a diverse product team * Agile Product Discovery & Development, Launch and Lifecycle management experience * Experience leading a cross-functional organization in executing projects from ideation to completion * Ability to adapt to a quickly changing business environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously * Strong initiative and ability to drive projects to completion with limited supervision * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Ability to organize, prioritize, and maintain attention to detail * Automotive experience a plus * BA/BS degree in related discipline; Advanced degree is preferred Who We Are *About Cox Automotive* Theres nothing ordinary about Cox Automotive.
