Our client in Sandy Springs, GA is looking for a talented and experienced Director of Sales to lead our sales team.

We need a self-motivated professional with proven sales and managerial experience.

In this position, you will be responsible for meeting our annual sales targets.n nYour duties will include motivating our sales team, designing strategic sales plans, and assessing costs and competition.

In addition to being an excellent communicator, our ideal candidate will also demonstrate exceptional negotiation and leadership skills.n n Key Responsibilities:n n Developing and executing strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base Cultivate lasting relationships with customers to grow customer loyalty.

Lead and motivate staff to improve customer service with clients.

Reporting on forces that shift tactical budgets and strategic direction of accounts Develop and promote weekly, monthly and quarterly sales objectives.

Draft detailed and accurate sales reports.

Understand category-specific landscapes and trends Work with customers to better understand their business needs and goals.

Assess costs, competition, and supply and demand to identify selling prices.

Estimate sales volume and profit for current and new products.

Establish a sales training program to train new employees.

Meet with sales managers to assess company performance.

Demonstrate excellent oral, verbal, written, and presentation skills for effective communication between business organization and corporate clientsn n Requirements/Qualifications:n n Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing or equivalent practical experience 10+ years of demonstrated experience developing and growing client relationships and leading teams.

In -depth knowledge of marketing techniques and best practices.

Excellent negotiation and leadership skills.

Proven sales executive experience, meeting or exceeding targets Previous experience as a sales executive, sales manager or sales and marketing director Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services Proven ability to position products against competitors Demonstrable experience as head of sales, developing client-focused, differentiated and achievable solutions Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills Excellent verbal and written communications skillsn n Competenciesn n Customer/Client Focus.
