The Retirement Consultant – Roll In (Consultant) will drive consolidation of assets into proprietary employer sponsored retirement plans by acting as a single point of contract, educator, and consultant for individual customers throughout the entirety of the process. Consultants must maintain and manage their book of business ranging from 150 – 350 customers. Consultants will work autonomously to maintain their book of business and provide positive outcomes and experiences for customers. This includes but is not limited to scheduling meetings with individual customers, holding conference calls with contra firms & customers, providing individualized guidance and support throughout the consolidation process. They must independently and effectively manage a high volume of scheduled meetings, inbound calls, outbound calls, and emails correspondence with customers while making themselves available to receive real-time warm handoffs of newly generated leads from call centers. Consultants will assist customers with any Rollover, Exchange, or Transfer to ensure the process is completed properly by both the contra firm and Empower. When challenges/hurdles arise within the process, they must develop solutions for unique problems/opportunities required to complete the transaction. All Consultants are required to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets are tasked with consolidating approximately 1,550 accounts, or more, annually.

The salary range below describes the minimum to maximum base salary range for this position in the location listed. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation offered may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
