Robert Half Technology is seeking candidates in the Atlanta, Georgia area to join an existing team working onsite with a local client as a Senior Project Manager.

You will strengthen your candidacy if you can be responsible for managing projects to successful completion, ensuring that projects deliver on time, on budget, and in accordance with standards and guidelines over the entire project.

Your responsibilities
– Handles the daily stand-ups, asserting they are timely, focused and brief
– Creates and handles the sprint planning and grooming meetings and marks ticket assignments
– Handles deployment scheduling in coordination with Product Owner, tech lead and Dev Ops
– Acts as Scrum Master for the developers on the team
– ensuring the team is working effectively, clearing obstacles, and leading scrum ceremonies
– Provides detailed reporting to management on project status, risk assessments, and milestone completion
– Engages with Product Owner/Product Manager to double check that the product vision and high-level business objectives are transparent and obtainable
– Steers project planning
– Develops and schedules projects
– as per the Project Roadmap defined by the Business Owner
– Co-operates with the Product Owner/Product Manager to turn the product roadmap into executable projects
– In collaboration with the Product Owner/Product Manager, you will facilitate creation and maintenance of the Project Roadmap
– Determines the RACI matrix for projects in a product line
– Collaborates and communicates with stakeholders, developers, technical team members and designers
– Make sure that the functional requirements are met, achievable, and tracked
– Fosters help to manage dependencies among cross-product teams
– Coordinates schedules and milestones with inputs from all other teams assigned to that product, manages project scope and timelines
– Assists to manage, identify, and classify risk for functional improvement requests
– Provides project outlines with fitting ticket workflows and boards
– Work in close collaboration with the Business Analyst, QA Manager, Product Specialist, and Product Owner/Product Manager
– Aid the team focus on the on-time delivery of agreed products
– Amasses facts from business analysts, technical leads, and QA leads into referencesn n Job Requirements: n
– It is preferred for applicants to have experience working with e-learning and blended learning programs
– Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical colleagues
– Flexibility to adapt to changes in procedures and job assignments
– A Project Management (PMP) certification is required for success at this position.

– You’ll do well at this position if you are flexible and focused
– Applicants with proficiency using commonly accepted scheduling and project management tools are preferred
– Ability to prioritize work and balance multiple projects and deadlines
– Excellent oral and written communications skills
– Solid understanding of Program Management Office
– Foundational knowledge in IT Governance
– PMP Certification experience
– Knowledge of Program Management
– Demonstrated leadership and supervisory ability, strong operation and project management skills
– Minimum of 3 years of relevant Project Management experience
– You’ll do well at this position if you are familiar and comfortable with IT project management methodologies
– Strong problem-solving skills
