nnThe Procurement Manager is responsible for the procurement process for key categories of spend, to include management of cross functional teams to facilitate the definition of category plans, defining and leading negotiations, supplier and stakeholder management to ensure agreed objectives are met or exceeded.  The role will report to the Procurement Director.  Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Translate objectives and strategies into global and regional category and sourcing strategies and lead cross-functional efforts to identify and implement improvement opportunities (including but not limited to, outsourcing, demand management, globalization of supply, supplier consolidation, reducing supply complexity and renegotiation of existing contracts)Manage the organization’s approach to complex, cross-functional sourcing activities ensuring the engagement and buy-in from IT Leadership, functional VP’s and stakeholders, and regional procurement teamsBuild, develop and manage a team of best-in-class procurement category managers to deliver category management and cost savings across various indirect spend categories including End-User Computing, IT Software and Telecom.Lead the negotiation process in the delivery of the commercial objectives Ensuring up-to-date market research and analysis is being completed to identify business opportunities and risks and ensure the realization of opportunities and risk mitigation through ownership of the commercial category management process Oversees the development of strategies and processes to achieve annual cost savings, working capital improvement, budget performance, and supplier performance targetsGrow adoption of strategic approaches to vendor qualification, vendor selection, the development and implementation of global and regional sourcing strategies, management of RFI’s and RFP’s, the negotiation and development of contracts, the identification and implementation of cost savings opportunities, working capital improvement and assistance with critical supplier performance issues across RNA within the indirect and technology areas Foster regular communication with leadership, functional stakeholders, and regional procurement teamsEffective service and contract management of suppliers, providing guidance regarding performance metrics and assisting with the resolution of critical supplier performance issues when requiredIdentify and facilitate operational efficiency improvementsEnsure appropriate risk mitigation strategies are an intrinsic part of sourcing and contract development effortsPresent the status of strategic sourcing projects, improvement initiatives, performance to budget and category strategies to the VP of Procurement and when required, CEO, CFO and CPO Remain current on market and category trends in an effort to continuously implement improvementEnsure compliance with corporate product, procedural, regulatory, environmental and corporate social responsibility policiesDevelop and implement strategies to attract and maintain a highly skilled and engaged workforceCultivate an environment where peers and associates respect and adhere to company standards of integrity and ethicsExhibit strong interpersonal communication skills and change management skills, demonstrated by motivating a diverse group of internal customers to follow the optimum strategyWhat do you need?

Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Marketing, or relevant field Procurement experience of over 5 years required with particular emphasis on various indirect and technology categoriesExperience with procurement best practices and a successful track record in Procurement, managing spend in corporate environmentManagement and Leadership qualification preferredExperience developing and negotiating complex contractsAbility to work independently and perform against tight deadlines with multiple concurrent prioritiesExcellent analytical, problem solving, and multi-tasking skillsExpert negotiation skillsEffective communication and facilitation skillsAbility to work in a fast paced environment with changing priorities and deadlinesDetail oriented
