PACS Digital Communications Experience Director

A critical component of this networked organization is the creation of Platform Services to become the new backbone of our operating structure through a network of globally scaled services.

nn nnMarketing & PACS platform services is one of the critical service hubs.

This role is on the PACS Services team which is responsible for providing global creative, digital, and data services that enable the company to achieve its PACS (Public Affairs, Communications, and Sustainability) objectives.

nn nnPACS Services is seeking a Digital Communications Experience Director to evolve our use of corporate communications channels, blending digital best practices with technical expertise to fully realize the potential for our websites to inspire credibility and authenticity with our stakeholders and key audiences.

nn nnWhat Youll Do for Us:nn nnRecommend and implement global website strategy to influence audience journeys and reposition our use of this channel more effectively in communicationsnn nnBe our connector
– Bring well-rounded expertise to support website management as part of a holistic network including social channels and email communications; establish critical connections points between these propertiesnn nnBe our evangelist educate functional partners to be more digitally savvy, create excitement about the visible (content, UX, etc.) and invisible (site architecture, SEO, etc.) components that combine for powerful, memorable, engaging experiencesnn nnBe our digital innovator prioritize feature requests critical to achieving communication objectives, partnering with and writing requirements for our IT development teamnn nnSupport creative strategy driving consistent look and feel across all corporate websites that brings our companys identity to life to all markets we operate innn nnManage and own the integrity of a user experience emblematic of our companys vision and purpose, catered to critical audiences and stakeholdersnn nnPartner with our analytics teams to determine KPIs that will measure the value and effectiveness of website communications; consistently leverage reporting outputs to recommend and implement strategy adjustments as needednn nnEnable efficient authoring and publishing to all corporate websites, streamlining the process to share content and increasing content reuse nn nnQualifications & Requirements: nn nnFunctional Skills:nn nnCross Functional Relationships: Knowledge of and ability to articulate to senior management the benefits of supporting cross-functional objectives to achieve the business plan.nn nnGlobal/Cultural Knowledge: Knowledge of cultural differences in different regions or countries that might impact or limit the effectiveness of marketing and PACS strategiesnn nnIndependent Point of View: Knowledge of the external environment in which the Company’s business is conducted.

Includes ability to offer a broad perspective that extends beyond a particular functional discipline (e.g., marketing, finance) and draw upon knowledge that comes from frequent interaction with different departments, employees and sources and constituencies outside of the Company.nn nnInnovation: Ability to identify and develop innovative ideas in order to create a proprietary advantage for The Company.nn nnNetwork/Resources: Ability to develop diverse network/resources to leverage “best in class” knowledge, approaches and processes.nn nnVendor Management: The ability to evaluate and ensure that vendor performance meets or exceeds defined performance standards and adheres to overall company policies and procedures.

nn nnRelated Work Experience: 7-10 years experience, with a minimum of 5 years dedicated digital communications experience.

The required focus is on the relevance of the recent work they’ve done as it pertains to this role.

Needs to have experience working across teams and geographies in a complex, global environment leading or leveraging teams of internal and external resources.

Experience in a global role preferred.

Ideally needs to have worked in roles that provided exposure to a wide array of digital ownership and management including but not limited to social media channels, website and information architecture, content development, publishing, search engine optimization, Google Analytics, etc.
