Job Summary: Join our Mergers & Acquisitions team and help shape the future of Equinix.

If you are passionate about growth and change, this is an exciting opportunity to help analyze, assess, and execute high profile growth initiatives related to Equinix business strategy.

You will partner across Global Network Operations and with key senior leadership in all areas of the business while leading Global Network’s programmatic approach for Merger & Acquisitions.

The Director is responsible for delivery of large scale global cross functional business transformation programs and builds strategic relationships with stakeholders and governance authorities.

You will be responsible for coordinating functional agendas, drafting functional and cross-functional communications, leading projects, and carrying out activities to maintain leadership team cohesion.

FP&A budgeting, reporting and analysis activities also will be required related to GN tasks and broader budget with respect to M&A.

The role offers the opportunity for development and exposure from process optimization & standardization, to due diligence, sourcing, execution, and closure.

The M&A Program Director will be responsible for crafting and implementing change for multiple phases of the lifecycle, including identifying the skills required for opportunities, financial models, risk analysis, and integration.

You also will lead complex cross-functional programs and projects strategic to the business and participate in business-wide best practice forums to drive practice excellence across the business.


Establish and lead program and portfolio management methodology and integrated toolsets to drive standardization, repeatable processes, and continuous improvement globally.

Work collaboratively with functional leaders to prepare financial and nonfinancial strategic objectives, implement, and maintain strategic playbooks.

Provide senior leaders and stakeholders with insight required to assess implementation opportunities and challenges, drive priorities, and inform leaders of risks, opportunities, changes, escalations, decisions, plans, and recommendations.

Matrix manage a broad range of stakeholders, including project managers, functional subject matter experts, and program contributors from various organizations.

Ensure the quality of processes related to Program & Portfolio Management and M&A, including due diligence, identification, valuation, negotiation, and post-merger integration.

Work collaboratively across teams to create streamlined business cases and independently coordinate program and project plans.

Engage with global stakeholders at all levels, consult on requirements, and proactively manage stakeholder needs.

Manage risks and issues, create and communicate mitigation responses at an appropriate level for the program complexity and risk level.

Program manage Global Network resources including producing resource/cost plans and estimates, track costs to plan, manage changes, and remediate issues with external suppliers and contractors.


5 years+ experience with mergers & acquisitions

PMI/Prince2 Practitioner certification or equivalent

Ability to identify, analyze, and solve ambiguous problems

Strong interpersonal skills

Presentation and communication skills

Strong organizational skills and ability to simultaneously manage multiple high-complexity programs

In accordance with Colorado State Law ( ) the salary range for Colorado for this role is $135,000-$185,000 per year with 30% bonus target.
