Summaryn n The Director Global Strategy is responsible for driving key strategic initiatives and the corporate strategy for FLEETCOR.Strategic initiatives range from ideation through to execution (build, buy, partner).

This leader will take a global view of our business … describe it, analyze it and help draft the overall growth strategy for FLEETCOR.The role is at the center of strategic planning and collaborates with Lines of Business (LOBs) and shared services to accelerate projects tied to key global growth themes (eg, beyond fuel).n n Job Dutiesn Creates fact base and business analytics to support growth initiatives (goal: 4-year plan to double revenue) Creates market sizing, growth perspectives and competitive analysis to identify and drive inorganic growth opportunities Facilitates mid-term (3 year) growth planning process, including leading planning off-site with top executives Foster effective and productive relationships with key global stakeholders … eg, LOB senior execs, strategy leads, product teams, IT Manage relationships with external partners, including new product or sales initiatives Summarize FLEETCOR’s strategy externally (e.g., for investors) Design go-to-market approaches for sales channels, including roles, compensation, and collateral Provide project management support to deliver on-time, high quality special project work (eg, competitor profiles, business analyses, forecasts, status reports, etc) Drive research and thought leadership to support operational best practices Design new products and capabilities to support growth in the business, including cross-sell offerings, analytics, and digital services Requirementsn Bachelor’s degree from a leading 4-year college or university.

As such, a customer can “buy more stuff” without sacrificing the controls and reporting which attracted the customer to our product to begin with.

For example: Our Fuel card customers can enable their cards to allow non-fuel purchases relevant to their business, like allowing a painting crew to buy supplies at a home improvement store, so they can finish the paint job.

Our Toll tag customers can use their in-vehicle RFID tags to make other “on the go” purchases like parking, fuel and fast-food.

For our customers, these product extensions reduce payment friction, saving them time and operational headaches.

For FLEETCOR, these product extensions can increase our share of wallet with existing customers and can increase our products’ appeal and applicability to previously-unserved customer segments (e.g., non-toll urban dwellers).

We also create new product offerings, developed internally or in conjunction with partners, to cross-sell to our existing customer base.n More Geographies.
