The IT Senior Project Manager will define and ensure successful execution of multiple assigned projects of varying size and complexity. The role must be able to define and manage the overall project plan, establish key customer relationships and manage expectations, be well organized and able to manage resources including people. They must have the ability to effectively communicate as well as manage and define risk strategies to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and within scope.

The IT Senior Project Manager is accountable for all project related activities and deliverables, including, but not limited to:
The candidate for this position will have demonstrated experience in delivering large scale projects successfully, on budget and on time as well as have the necessary collaboration skills to motivate team members, focus on customer needs and project objectives. Â This position requires exceptional interpersonal skills and working knowledge of project management disciplines, practices and deliverables.
Job Functions
Project Management – responsible for assigned project  success; ensuring standard process and reporting methodologies are followed;  ensuring successful delivery and execution of scope, schedule and budget – 40%Â
Leadership – leads and coordinates project update meetings;  documents project status and issues, action items and meeting minutes; acts  as the key liaison across all functional areas, including Business Units, IT  and Vendors – 15%
Financial – responsible for project budget oversight;  ensuring Capex and Opex spend is being tracked against approved funding,  including time tracking for all resources – 15%
Risk Management – responsible for managing overall risk  through a defined process; ensures mitigation planning and regular reviews;  escalates as necessary – 10%
Change Management – responsible for managing overall  change management process, tracking, approval and escalation – 10%
Communication – responsible for all project level  communication and status reporting – 10%

This position will report to the Director-Project Management as part of the IT PMO team. Decisions will be made collaboratively between these two roles. Decisions that impact the entire environment will also be made in conjunction with the CIO and IT Directors. This position will not have any direct reports but will be required to manage team members as part of a matrix environment.
