PRIMARY PURPOSE: To lead and manage a team of compliance auditors; to assess the operational compliance and measure the compliance by colleague, by office, line of business and companywide; to identify training needs necessary to improve performance across the organization; and to make ongoing recommendations to the CPO based on audit results and trends.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES
* Maintains a thorough understanding of the company and the business unit’s operation and compliance requirements.
* Ensures that auditors are consistently applying the audit tool across the organization.
* Reviews audit findings and results to local, regional and national operations.
* Analyses audit results to provide recommendations that will drive improved outcomes and audit scores.
* Assists the CPO in coordinating and implementing national quality initiatives across the organization.
* Assists in the development of training tools that drive performance of the technical colleagues.
* Tracks and reports on trends within the region; utilizes trend information to work in cooperation with Sedgwick University to determine training and skills enhancement needs for training programs across the organization.
* Assists in the management of colleague coaching, mentoring and group training; participates as needed.
* Responsible for developing and implementing ongoing enhancements to performance audit tool to ensure the organization is driving outcomes and results through the tool.
* Participates in quarterly national quality meetings
* Maintains technical claims and jurisdictional expertise.
ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES
* Performs other duties as assigned.
* Supports the organization’s quality program(s).
* Travels as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Licensing
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred.

Professional certification such as AIC, CPCU or ARM preferred.

Experience
Ten (10) years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required to include two (2) years of quality, auditing and/or training experience and two (2) years of supervisory experience.

Two (2) years of service with the company preferred.
