  To help us fuel accelerated growth, through both our payment gateway and gaming consumers, we are looking for an experienced, highly energized, and results-oriented Director, Risk and iACH Governance.  Position Overview nn nnOne of Paysafe’s top 10 global priorities is to Win in US iGaming.

To support this, as well as other products including Skrill Money Transfer, we need to use the ACH infrastructure in the USA to enable consumers to pay merchants and receive money back, with funds credited immediately, while managing fraud and credit risk robustly.

  The Risk Governance team is responsible for ensuring that we have the right systems and processes in place to support the growth of the Paysafe business by making it easy and convenient for legitimate customers to pay us, while making it structurally hard for fraudsters to exploit our systems and easy for our fraud teams to mitigate fraud.

  Key Responsibilities nn Be the hands-on expert on point on instant ACH (iACH) for Paysafe Risk to enable Paysafe to meet its goals for using the iACH rails to support our key goals, while managing credit and fraud losses within appetite Work with the Business Unit teams to understand and inform iACH goals Understand the key risks and partner with Product and Business Unit teams to identify and use appropriate tools available to mitigate them at customer onboarding, transaction processing and decisioning stages Work with the wider Consumer Risk team to ensure that the right transactions are approved, based on the available information Work with the Collections team to collect appropriately on failed transactions, using all appropriate tools (representment, dunning, debt collection agencies) Work with our Banking and Payments Ecosystem teams to ensure we operate within the requirements of external stakeholders, including our banks, NACHA and end customers’ banks Lead the Consumer Risk Governance team to ensure that processes and changes are well managed to mitigate the risk of fraud Be the primary risk contact for all teams on product initiatives.

Ensure risk business requirements are understood and communicated them to the Product and IT teams, and convert business requirements to structured business processes as required Assess proposed new or changed business products, payment providers, processes, and markets to identify and mitigate new risks, balancing these with the business opportunities Assist with vendor assessments for evaluations and provide cost/benefit analysis Assist with enterprise vulnerability management efforts and calculate the current and residual risk Participate in the decision-making process of their integration and implementation, ensuring that risk requirements are met prior to implementation Maintain awareness of the current risk and payment network management framework including gaps and propose solutions to improve risk and payments management.

Lead and execute regular review of the performance of existing products, payment methods and providers Manage a team of 2-3 people to deliver the above nn Qualifications/Experience nn Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study or relevant compliance experience in lieu of the degree  5+ years of experience in the payments industry, with strong hands-on knowledge of risk management of ACH transactions in the US market, and NACHA requirements 5+ years of leadership experience leading direct reports Extensive experience with online payments, ideally in a FinTech environment.

 Experience in a platform offering support to the iGaming industry, such as Mazooma, PayWithMyBank or PayPal, would be a strong advantage Willingness to “roll sleeves” up and work in a hands-on fashion as well as delivering through a team Strong understanding of the global online payments landscape  Has successfully motivated and led a team to deliver work to quality and time Advanced stakeholder management skills, working in a high visibility, high impact role Strong communication skills, written and verbal.

Communicating clearly and accurately to different audiences Advanced data analysis and reporting capability.

Comfortable handling and interrogating large volumes of data, and producing clear and impactful analytics, reports and dashboards Comfortable working with ambiguity where the path to success frequently requires self-led discovery and solutions.
