Director of Field Marketing

Job Summary:

The Field Marketing director in Atlanta is a highly visible team leader responsible for developing marketing plans that drive client awareness in multiple geographic regions and help increase sales effectiveness by collaborating with regional sales leaders to assess the competitive landscape necessary to implement successful marketing strategy.

He/she will demonstrate strong leadership, communication and management abilities to support functions that will ensure the success of the field marketing team and of all related programs and will have engagement throughout the sales and marketing organization while leading, coaching and mentoring a globally distributed team of regional / field marketing professionals.

  

 

Job Responsibilities:

·      Develop marketing projects. Plan, develop, and implement multiple programs through appropriate channels. 

·      Write. Direct the development of company market requirements and produce valuable content for specific solutions and company initiatives. 

·      Collaborate. Build strategic partnerships with key stakeholders to promote brand awareness, coordinate market research and marketing campaign efforts. 

·      Achieve marketing effectiveness. Engage with various marketing functions and senior leaders across the company to achieve marketing effectiveness goals. 

·      Communicate. Direct marketing teams and other departments with exceptional communication skills. 

·      Manage budget. Responsible for tracking budget and allocate resources and invest funds wisely. 

·      Design dashboards. Monitor progress of activities and submit ROI dashboards and reports to show accurate progress towards demand generation goals. 

·      Implement marketing strategy. Design and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to achieve business goals. 

·      Develop campaigns and field events strategy. Develop campaigns and field events strategies to fulfill lead generation goals and refines programs as necessary after lead analysis. 

·      Increase company visibility. Align external market view with the company strategy to develop brand and company visibility. 

·      Focus on regional growth initiatives. Responsible for generating growth for solutions across regions through demand creation and funnel acceleration.

Support future solutions development by identifying market trends, relevant buying personas, and customer needs. 

·      Develop marketing plan. Ensure regional marketing plans and execution are aligned with global marketing plan (value proposition, positioning, marketing mix, etc.) to grow sales pipeline. 

·      Establish lead generation / demand generation strategy. Develop robust, integrated multi-channel marketing campaigns and relevant content to grow the sales pipeline.

Deliver revenue by understanding the marketing waterfall and sales funnel process. 

·      Track marketing KPIs.

Identify and analyze key marketing KPIs, including marketing sourced, marketing attribution to pipeline, revenue, average selling price, and time to close.

Experience testing for pre-launch evaluations. 

·      Create field event plans.

Develop plans for shows and events that elevate the company brand, maximize presence, and generate demand for the company’s solutions.

·      Lead Attract, select, train and retain top field marketing talent responsible for assigned geographic and/or vertical territories aligned to sales functions.
Perform other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Experience required for the job:

·      Bachelor’s Degree in related field; Master’s Degree preferred 

·      12+ years of relevant marketing experience 

·      Management or leadership experience preferred 

·      Excellent verbal and written communication skills 

·      Understanding of effective marketing tactics and strategies 

·      Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally and sustain necessary relationships, internally and  

·      externally 

·      Proven ability to work independently, multi-task, stay organized, meet deadlines 

·      Advanced experience planning and executing field events, tradeshows, marketing campaigns, etc. 

·      Exceptional analytical, creative and innovative skills 

·      Demonstrable experience with lead generation, strategic planning and channel development 

·      Proven leadership and motivational skills to achieve business success 

·      Advanced experience with marketing software, project management software, and MS Office
