Responsibilities:

  • Mine and analyze complex data sets to gain deep business knowledge and insight on employee and client activity and usage behaviors;
  • Develop and implement data analyses, data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality;
  • Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases;
  • Work with management to prioritize business, information and data needs;
  • Identify and define new process improvement opportunities based on data analytics efforts and results;
  • Create reports and dashboards for internal teams and/or external clients;
  • Collaborate with team members to collect, analyze, synthesize and present data and data insights;
  • Use graphs, infographics, interactive dashboards, and other methods to visualize data.
  • Create comprehensive presentations and reports based on data findings and recommendations;
  • Utilize advanced and predictive analytics for forecasting and planning purposes;
  • Utilize available Artificial Intelligence (AI)/Machine Learning (ML), Robotic Process Automation (RPA), and Big Data tools to maximize access, integrity, and value of available data;
  • Apply sound data management principles in daily operations, to include data governance, migration, cleansing, validation, structuring, extracting, and loading/converting.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, economics, computer science, information management or statistics;
  • 6+ years of professional experience as a data analyst, data scientist, or in a related field;
  • Ability to analyze existing tools and databases and provide software solution recommendations;
  • Ability to manage and balance multiple engagements and deadlines;
  • Technical Expertise in:
    • Data Visualization Software
    • Big Data Technology
    • Machine Learning packages
    • Robotic Process Automation (RPA);
    • Demonstrated experience in handling large data sets and relational databases;
    • Understanding of addressing and metadata standards;
    • Experience and/or expertise with the following tools/applications is a plus:
      • Data Management: Oracle, Excel, Access, SQL, SPSS.
      • Data Analytics: R, SAS, Hadoop, Python, Stata, Alteryx.
      • Data Visualization: Tableau, Qlik, Microsoft Power BI, ArcGIS.
      • AL/ML & RPA – UiPath, Microsoft Power Apps & Power Automate (Flow), AWS AI/ML services.
      • Data Modeling Techniques: GBM, logistic regression, clustering, neural networks, NLP.
         
  • Familiarity with web scraping techniques in any preferred programming language;
  • Experience using statistical computer languages to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets;
  • A drive to learn and master new technologies;
