As a Senior Product Manager reporting to the Product Leader of Mobilitas, your primary responsibilities will involve underwriting commercial auto business accounts in the sharing economy and mobility sector, including risk assessment, pricing, broker relations, and research and product development.

As part of an innovative team developing insurance solutions, you will contribute to laying the foundation for underwriting, pricing and risk control best practices in this emerging industry segment.

While working from AZ is preferred we will consider a telework opportunity for the right person.

Essential responsibilitiesEvaluating both start-up and tenured business accounts in ridesharing, car sharing, car subscription, and other emerging marketsCollaborate with Forms, Legal, Claims to identify risk exposures and recommend appropriate insurance solutionsReviewing and analyzing business financials, operations, inventory management, risk controls, employee training, procedures, and other pertinent underwriting informationEvaluating underwriting profitability of existing businesses, including analysis of loss runs, frequency and severity trends, and subscriber and employee driver risk profilesDetermining appropriate account pricing based on risk attributes, while attracting and retaining desired business and helping achieve overall program profitability targetsMonitoring the evolution of sharing economy and mobility sector and competitive landscape in developing innovative insurance solutions that meet the needs of new and emerging exposuresEffectively support broker relationships and developing new business opportunities by pursuing creative, client-centric solutions in a highly responsive and professional mannerRegularly interacting with executives.

Interactions frequently involve activities such as speaking to or negotiating with customers, influencing other leaders, and representing the organization What would make us excited about youBA/BS Degree15+ years of related commercial auto experience in a national commercial carrierPrior product management and/or underwriting experience for large business accounts of premium size > $10MComprehensive knowledge of commercial lines products and contract knowledge including regulations of sharing economy and mobility sectorExperience with usage-based insurance product designDeep knowledge of the insurance product lifecycle, competitors, insurance product pricing, financial drivers of profitability, insurance regulations and surplus line regulations, general insurance operations and business processes.Ability to synthesize analytical results to guide business decisions.Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Strong problem-solving skills focusing on How.Strategic thinker and hands-on contributor.

Expert knowledge of all products, end-to-end, with passion for achieving results.Proactive and self-starter who will search for opportunities and problems and then address them.

Flexibility and capacity to handle multiple demands.

PerNevada SB293we are disclosing the compensation, or range thereof, for roles that will be, or could be, performed in Nevada.If performed in Nevada,this position has asalary range of $121,600-$152,000.In complianceofColoradosEqual Pay for Equal Work Act (EPEWA)we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles that will be, or could be performed in Colorado.

If performed in Colorado, this position has asalary range of $115,800-$144,700.The role includesan opportunity for a company-wide annual discretionary bonus, through our Annual Incentive Plan (AIP), of up to15%of eligible pay.
