Primary Location: 6205 Peachtree Dunwoody Rd, Atlanta, GA, USADivision: Cox CommunicationsJob Level: Individual ContributorTravel: NoSchedule: Full-timeShift: Day JobRequisition Number: 202104019DESCRIPTION:As a member of Cox Communications Strategic HR Solutions organization, the Strategic Workforce Planning Manager is responsible for advancing the maturity of our Strategic Workforce Planning capability by developing repeatable models to build organizational strategy and tactics.

This role develops and delivers scalable solutions that enable HR professionals and leaders to put a human capital plan into place for the organization, identifying risks and issues which may affect future demand and using the information to create a vision for the future.

Reporting to the Director, Talent and Org Planning, this position requires an understanding of workforce analytics and the ability to operationalize innovative tools, processes and practices for quick adoption throughout the organization.

Critical to the success of this role are effective partnerships and strong relationships with key areas: HR Solutions team, HR Business Partners, HR Technology, and HR Metrics and Analytics.RESPONSIBILITIES:Develops and leads the creation, communication and operationalization of strategic workforce planning methodologies, tools and processes to support the identification of talent needs associated with the organizations future goals and establish a strategy to ensure the organization has the right mix of talent, technologies and employment models to reach these goals.Sources and applies an array of industry leading methodologies and technologies to develop useful tools and processes needed to build organizations fit for purpose.Draws insights and articulates business impacts from multiple sources of data and information by designing analytic models, conducting qualitative studies, and performing statistical/financial analyses.Establishes measures to monitor and assess adoption and effectiveness of strategic workforce planning tools and processes in practice.Shapes the future by staying attuned to emerging talent trends that shape considerations for acquiring and retaining critical talent.Responds to internal and external indicators by identifying continuous improvement opportunities, always careful to balance the investment of resources with org readiness and value to the business.Organizes and presents practice recommendations and project summaries using a variety of communication tools.Achieves results through teamwork by fostering and building collaborative relationships needed to co-create solutions as well as educate and coach practitioners and leaders on the effective application of resources and execution of processes.Qualifications:REQUIRED:BA/BS Business, Statistics, Finance or Human Resources5 or more years operating in a similar position with 3 years of experience in Workforce Planning and headcount forecasting/financial budgetsDemonstrated experience in Project Management and Change ManagementAbility to understand complex business plans/requirements and translate into a Strategic Workforce PlanAbility to understand and problem solve complex organizational challenges using strong analytical and financial modeling skills.Proven ability to create high-quality deliverables that clearly represent complex concepts and data through model and visuals using PowerPoint, Excel, Visio and Word.Ability to work in a dynamic, collaborative organization and quickly adapt to change.Ability to effectively craft and tell a compelling story that wins over the hearts and minds of the audienceDemonstrated program and project management skillsStrong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple, conflicting prioritiesPREFERREDMasters degree in Human Resources, or Industrial PsychologyCertifications: Strategic Workforce Planning and/or Change ManagementProficient with Org Design software, like Orgvue, for current state analysis, future state modeling and/or strategic workforce planningExperience with WorkdayExperience in developing and utilizing predictive analytics and statistical modeling Who We AreAbout Cox CommunicationsCox Communications is committed to creating meaningful moments of human connection through broadband applications and services.
