Are you a national account manager looking for a new challenge to advance your career? Are you a marketing professional with an account management or sales background interested in your next opportunity? If you are competitive, motivated, and have the right experience this could be the right role for you. We’re looking for an account manager to join our Account Management team, in order to help achieve growth targets and maintain client relationships through renewal.

 

Primary Role and Responsibilities

  • Deliver customer renewal and expansion bookings
  • Develop, communicate, and drive strategic account growth plans
  • Understand client needs and align with, as well as articulate TPG’s unique value.
  • Build relationships and represent TPG as a “Trusted Advisor” for the client, and as the recognized leader of the TPG team
  • Collaborate with services and internal groups to drive client success
  • Maintain accurate account statuses and opportunity forecasts
  • Articulate and continually enhance knowledge of our services and related technologies
  • Identify trends across accounts, and share learnings on client needs
  • Manage customer issues, complaints and process improvement needs
  • Serve as a customer advocate, continuously improving the customer experience
  • Collaborate with services team to ensure client projects are delivered on time and on budget
  • Know our clients’ businesses. Understand their requirements for partners as well as what it takes to drive demand in their industry
  • Manage risks and bring obstacles forward to Management
  • Conduct internal and external account reviews, QBRs
  • Confidently lead and contribute to executive level 1×1 conversations
  • Account operations support
  • Works with client and services team to develop a success roadmap which includes TPG services and products that helps the client improve their business results
  • Understand the clients’ business objectives and how to move the needle.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or similar experience.
  • Marketing experience preferred.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to collect, track, and complete varied tasks.
  • Adaptability and strong problem solving skills.
  • Excellent active listening skills.
  • Ability to build rapport and collaborate with others within the company and externally.
  • Understanding of consumer behaviors and industry trends.
  • Extensive, accurate product knowledge.
