I.K. Hofmann is currently recruiting for Sales Accounting Representative for the Atlanta Airport area. This position is currently working remotely 5 days a week. This position requires a self-motivated and reliable candidate that is able to work in a virtual and professional environment.

Position:

Working with financial analysis, negotiation, and customer relationship management. Then, by utilizing advanced skills, you must be able to independently resolve and/or produce workable resolutions for common trends, create reports to monitor progression, and identify and manage revenue opportunities within Cargo Handling.

Responsibilities:

Strong interpersonal, phone, and computer skills (intermediate to expert level competency at MS Office)

  • Must be analytical thinker and have aptitude with numbers (Finance background is a plus but not required)

  • Excellent research skills and ability to quickly diagnose problems/root causes as well as an ability to spot trends.

  • Able to efficiently process airway bill research cases by evaluating data from several different systems. 

  • Self-motivated as work involves hours of data processing per day

  • Able to quickly adapt to changes in schedules, task, and job descriptions

  • Must be able to work virtually and in an office environment

  • Serve as a liaison, acting on behalf of Sales

  • Daily monitoring and research of invalid spot quotes for North America and Canada and proactively work to resolve discrepancies as they occur

  • Perform root analysis of billing invoice disputes to determine the cause and the responsible party.

  • Decide as to if billing corrections are necessary

  • Research, prepare and manage correspondence on open items found on the daily billing discrepancy report from Billing Center.

  • Work closely with Sales and the Billing center to confirm proper billing of contract, promo, or spot rates on unpaid invoices aged less than 90 days.  

  • Respond and/or resolve unsettled invoices greater than 90 days via Rejected Rebilled report.

  • Provide final feedback from Cargo on settlement proposals, write-offs and value adjustments 

  • Resolve escalations from Sales, Billing Center and Accounts Receivable.

  • Submit net-net correction eforms, when applicable

  • Collate information from various sources and coordinate the flow of this information between departments

  • Assist with business form and system testing related net-net corrections

  • Evaluate external customer request on billing and invoice irregularities 

  • Research and provide feedback or resolution on Handling irregularities that effect billing

  • Assist with testing and implementation on the Cargo platform enhancements

  • Track and provide proactive next steps on how to better maintain revenue integrity while optimizing flights exit the US  and Canada

  • Aide USA & Canada Key Account Management as needed, on global and business partner reports focusing on billing

  • Work in and with various systems such as iCAP, Capri, EasySales, EasyBooking, Invalid Quotation tool
