Parkway Products, LLC: Project Engineer

Summary: Develops and improves injection molding manufacturing processes by study of product and manufacturing methods.

Responsible for quoting and new project development in addition to current manufacturing improvement.Duties and Responsibilities: This job description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties or responsibilities associated with the job.

Other job-related duties may be assigned as needed.* Develops project objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans; conferring with management, sales team, and customers.* Determines project responsibilities by identifying project phases and elements; assigning personnel to phases and elements; reviewing bids from contractors.* Determines project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards; completing technical studies; preparing cost estimates.* Confirms product performance by designing and conducting tests as required.* Determines project schedule by implementing quoted project plan and specifications; calculating time requirements; sequencing project elements.* Maintains project schedule by monitoring project progress; coordinating activities; resolving problems as needed.* Controls project Quality plans by reviewing design, specifications, and plan and schedule changes; recommending actions.* Controls project costs by approving expenditures; administering contractor contracts.* Prepares project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends; recommending actions.* Manages and implements company capital expenditures as needed.* Manages cost accounting of current and future products.* Maintains safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations.* Maintains project data base by creating computer programs as required; entering and backing updata.* Maintains product, customer, and company reputation by complying with federal and state regulations.* Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.Supervisory Responsibilities:This position may be called upon to assist with training of other team members.Qualifications and Experience: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
