Junior Product Owner

This is a Full-time position in Atlanta, GA posted March 30, 2021.

The Junior Product Owneris an entry level role that is responsible for supporting specific software projects with the Product Owner from requirements definition to launch and contributing as a team member on larger projects. The Junior Product Owner works with other Product Owners and key business stakeholders to define and convey business needs to the Software development and engineering team. She He will focus on transitioning requirements user stories, into a committed product plan, jointly with RD, including the execution. Heshe will also lead certain milestones in the product’s lifecycle such as planning and integrations, execution, release and rollout and end-of-life planning. The role requires a high-energy individual who excels at working with one or more teams in a technical space and is comfortable in leading a team effort, as well as influencing others to achieve company objectives. The ideal candidate has excellent interpersonal skills to quickly build relationships with the teams and within the organization. Also, the ability to quickly gather information and learn the products and processes. Primary Job Duties Organize incoming product requests from a variety of functional areas Clarify and document requirements for projects Maintain project plans, roadmaps, and other documentation Communicate with stakeholders Support and communicate with Product Team, especially with respect to escalated production support concerns and communication around product releases Support and assist the Product Owner, especially with respect to refinement and maintaining the product backlog including defect and user stories prioritization Support agile ceremonies including sprint planning, retrospectives, release planning, and sprint reviews Ability to articulate the role of the product owner Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree from a top tier University with technology focus major A 3.5 GPA or higher and have demonstrated academic success Internship or Keystone Project experience required Demonstrated project management experience Excellent written and oral communication skills Ability to multitask and prioritize, strong attention to detail, able to follow and enforce processes Have outstanding of organizational and time management skills and the ability to complete multiple projects under tight deadlines Eagerness to learn new skills and frameworks, as necessary.
