HR Generalist

ARC3 GASES SOUTH

Job Summary: The Human Resources Generalist will be responsible for a wide range of HR tasks to support the effective and efficient operation of the organization’s HR department.

Duties/Responsibilities: Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR files, records, and documents.

Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of HR files and records.

Perform periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.

Gather and analyze HR metrics, such as cost per hire, time to hire, benefits participation, etc.

to identify issues and improve the HR function.

Assist in talent acquisition and recruitment.

Help onboard new employees and coordinate new hire orientations.

Assist payroll with timesheets using ADP software.

Assist with planning and execution of special events, such as benefits enrollment, wellness program activities, organization-wide meetings, employee recognition events, holiday parties, and retirement celebrations.

Respond to unemployment claims.

Perform clerical duties to support the HR department and other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn payroll management, human resource information system (HRIS), and similar computer applications.

Education and Experience: Associate’s degree in related field required.

1-3 years of Human Resources experience is required.

Experience working with a company with 400 employees preferred.

Experience with ADP payroll system is preferred.

Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
