Job Summary
Our Front Desk Coordinator will be responsible for creating a positive guest experience by providing a superior
level of customer service to The Vibe Ride Grant Park members, prospective members, and guests. Delivers
outstanding sales and customer service — greeting customers, answering questions, recommending classes,
troubleshooting, in person, or via phone or email. The Front Desk Coordinator helps maximize member retention by
connecting each member to the right people, place, and program.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Maintain product knowledge for all Vibe Ride Grant park promotions, ride packages, pricing, and retail
merchandise and proactively communicate to our clients.
• Actively drive sales of ride packages/classes and merchandise and execute transactions.
• Greet all guests promptly and enthusiastically in a welcoming and professional way to create a friendly positive
entrance into the studio.
• Assist with all aspects of the Vibe Ride experience including check-in and bike set-up to ensure a comfortable,
positive and safe experience.
• Provide superior customer service and hospitality to clients both before and after their class.
• Perform all operational duties: completing daily tasks, such as class set-up, studio maintenance, and cleanliness,
checklists, and projects/other duties as assigned.
• Studio cleaning and prepping, including cleaning of exercise equipment (bikes, weights), floors, and mirrors.
• Class set up to include towel service and TRX straps.
• Common area cleaning, including front desk, lockers, retail shelves, office, and hallways.
• Bathroom and changing room cleaning.
• Reports any questions, issues, etc., to Studio Management.
• Maintain towels service and restocking amenities.
Qualifications/Requirements
• Customer service background preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Self-starter and the ability to take initiative.
• Punctuality and reliability are a must.
• Demonstrate diplomacy in all interactions while using appropriate behavior and language.
• Passion for fitness, people, and health.
• Team player with the ability to work well with customers, teammates, and studio management.
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced studio environment.
• Flexibility in schedule–shifts may include early mornings, late evenings, weekends and/or holidays.
• Upbeat and positive attitude with a strong comprehension of customer service and sale experience preferred.
• Availability to work 3-4 shifts/week, preferred.
• High School diploma/GED equivalent required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
Required Experience
• Customer/Client Service: 2-3 years
• Sales experience
• Fitness Center/Gym/Studio preferred
