ERP Technical Lead

Ultra

This is a Full-time position in Atlanta, GA posted March 22, 2021.

Job Description:
 
The ERP Technical Specialist will be responsible for designing, configuring, testing, implementing, and supporting solutions that are implemented as part of Ultra’s ERP strategy.
  • Trouble shoot and resolve issues resulting from system configuration activities
  • Conduct business process mapping and requirements gathering sessions to determine system configuration and business requirements
  • Map business process requirements to software functionality, determine gap/fit, and design solutions for identified gaps
  • Perform hands-on software configuration in support of targeted business process requirements
  • Facilitate test script development and execution for assigned workstream(s)
  • Facilitate and perform implementation and cut-over activities
  • Provide business process, software, and project expertise to functional teams
  • Assist in maintenance and technical support of the IT applications
  • Assist with implementation of critical business metrics, reports, dashboards and analytic tools
  • Assist in review of deliverables to ensure they meet business requirements and technical needs
  • Lead continuous improvement activities and act as a change agent
  • Facilitate testing, training and change management to our end users in partnership with business leaders and to the needs of our quality management program.
  • Contribute as needed in other areas requiring technical expertise, such as data conversions, reporting, security, interfaces, etc
 
Required Skills :
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years of related experience including design and implementation of ERP or similar solutions
  • 3+ years direct experience working on multiple phases of 2+ ERP software implementations
  • Ability to obtain a US Government security clearance. Security clearances are granted to U.S. citizens.
 
Desired Skills:
  • Hands-on experience with software configuration, prototyping, and testing using leading ERP software solutions, for example: IFS, Microsoft Dynamics, Deltek, SAP, Oracle E-Business Suite, or other
  • Must have good presentation, organizational, and documentation skills and strong problem solving and business analysis skills
  • Willing to learn quickly, communicate ideas effectively, and utilize flexibility and creativity to present a variety of solutions
  • Willing to manage multiple project tasks and adapt to changing priorities
  • Excellent team leadership skills with proven success contributing on both large sub-teams and leading small projects
  • Strong customer focused approach, able to deal with all levels of staff and skill sets, capable of translating non-technical requests, then communicating solutions appropriately
  • Self-motivated, must be able to identify, organize and execute work independently
  • Flexibility to contribute to tasks and assist in solving problems outside defined role
  • Problem solving mentality with a passion and curiosity for improvement
  • Proactive in identifying and investigating issues and presenting potential solutions
  • Willingness and motivation to learn new and various technologies
