Enterprise Portfolio Mgmt Practice Lead


This is a Full-time position in atlanta, GA posted January 15, 2022.

DescriptionThe Enterprise Portfolio Mgmt.

Lead is required to collaboratively work with IT enterprise and segment executives as well as capability, and global technology delivery leads to identify, strategize, plan, design, execute, and track GP’s investment portfolio.

The role will lead and be primarily responsible for promoting portfolio management as a capability through GP IT .It will require applying portfolio, program, project and change management principles and tools to ensure value-driven active portfolio views are maintained across the organization at varying levels of detail.

Portfolios will provide a holistic view for investment justification, prioritization and benefit realization to enable various levels of leadership to maintain the right focus and drive value for GP.The position is expected to create frameworks and methodologies and bring consistency in driving end-to-end transformation and change/adoption across IT segments in conjunction with the Organization Change Management lead.

The position has process adherence and improvement focus and requires 360 degree thinking and collaboration at every stage while providing a positive experience to end users through the transformation.

Requires sense of ownership and strong governance to drive outcomes during the transformation.This position will report to the Vice President of IT Enterprise Services.What You Will Do In Your RoleStrategic Planning (30%)Directly accountable for defining the end-to-end portfolio management framework from demand to delivery with flexibility to scale and grow and for clearly articulating the strategic benefits and economic value of such model(s), and aligning it with GP and IT objectivesLeverage expertise and influence of global leaders to mitigate organization hurdles that may impede progress toward value creationMaintain a strategic understanding of business and IT objectives to ensure the framework accommodates themEstablish and maintain roadmap and long-term plans for outcomes and value realizationStakeholder Management (30%)Partner with IT executives, portfolio leaders and managers to gain an understanding of their strategic plans, priorities and investments and drive adoption of a flexible enterprise frameworkEngage with senior leadership, executives and all levels of the organization with the right level of detail and on a periodic basisEstablish and maintain strong relationships with key cross-functional portfolio leaders and stakeholders and deliver results that meet or exceed organizational expectationsChallenge the status quo, be resilient, seek resolution and define action plans to ensure GP is operating to well-informed and optimized portfoliosFunctional Consulting (30%)Build knowledge and maintain cross-functional relationships to identify process synergies where possible and promote knowledge shareApply critical thinking and advanced problem-solving skills to provide strategic and consulting guidance to the portfolio teamPartner with organization change leader to leverage knowledge of human behavior, cultural diversity and strategies to gain alignment across portfolio teamUnderstand the connection of investment with our strategic goals and key business/technology capabilities and how other initiatives can have an impact on the programProvide leadership with excellent interpersonal, team building, communication and influencing skills to drive outcomes and business valueOperate effectively in a team environment and a matrixed model with ability to influence to authorityVet benefits realization and investment analysis and collaborate with stakeholders, senior management and functional leaders to ensure their completeness and accuracyEvaluate and assess risks and issues as part of the lifecycle analysis to identify and proactively define mitigation plans to ensure successful outcomesManage work and deliverables of professional services partner(s) where applicableCreate meaningful and impactful status updates and executive dashboards to ensure project team and stakeholders stay informedAdvocacy (10%)Must be a strong advocate of values and principles of transformation and the organizationMust imbibe organizational culture and values and embed those in the transformation methodology & executionThe Experience You Will BringRequirements:Bachelor’s degreeAt least 10 years of solid experience in leading complex enterprise transformation, portfolio and program management, and establishing customizable modelsExcellent skills in PowerPoint, Excel, and collaboration tools and technologiesWhat Will Put You AheadMaster of Business Administration (MBA), MS Information TechnologyConsulting experienceExperience with portfolio management along with Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) conceptsIND-GP-RCTOur goal is for each employee, and their families, to live fulfilling and healthy lives.
