The Chief Operating Office (COO) is responsible for delivering a more consistent approach to business operations across Wells Fargo, strengthening the company’s risk and control infrastructure, and delivering effective and efficient enterprise services to employees and customers.

The COO group includes the head of Operations, who is jointly responsible for line of business operations with each of the five LOB CEOs. Operations functions include contact center operations, client servicing support, money movements within our businesses, lending operations, and other functions.

The COO group also includes a number of teams dedicated to strengthening Wells Fargo’s risk and control infrastructure. These include the Control Executive team; Regulatory and Policy Affairs; Enterprise Customer Excellence; Sales Practices Oversight and Management; and Strategic Execution and Operations.

The Chief Administrative Office, encompassing the Corporate Properties Group; Corporate Security; Enterprise Business Resiliency; Strategic Programs and Process Improvement; Enterprise Change Management; Supply Chain Management; and Data Management and Insights, delivers important services for our employees and customers.

This role will support application stakeholder engagement and reporting for planning and execution of Data Privacy remediation activities. Responsibilities include supporting California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) regulatory compliance requirements engaging business and technical partners of prioritized applications for remediation / integration into the Privacy Center.  Resource will support stakeholder reporting related to application engagement activities including identification and documentation of personal data within an application, business requirement documentation, functional specification creation, and Privacy Center technical integration activities.  Additionally, resource will lead Delete Me and Data Minimization activities with application teams, Privacy Legal, and various Policy and Compliance teams. 

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: data management, data governance, data quality or data analysis demonstrated through work or military experience
  • 5+ years of risk and regulatory compliance experience
  • 5+ years of experience creating executive level dashboards, analytics, and reports using advanced visualization tools
  • 2+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: project management, implementation, or strategic planning

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to identify and assess issues then make sound decisions
  • Good analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities

Other Desired Qualifications

  • Experience consulting, collaborating, and influencing across a matrix organization with senior leaders
  • Provide guidance and subject matter expertise in the data privacy space by sharing best practices and recommendations with internal stakeholders
  • Proficiency with privacy regulations (CCPA, GDPR, etc.) or a solid commitment and desire to learn more about these areas
  • Experience working in large multi-LOB financial services institutions  

Job Expectations

  • Ability to travel up to 5% of the time
