This role will provide support to a business unit and/or functional group covering many or most of the following areas: recruiting, compensation, talent planning, benefits/employee wellness initiatives, training and development, employee relations, employee communications, and safety and employment documentation.

The role is responsible for supporting the HR team as well as the business in all employee-related matters including the application of policies and procedures.

The Senior HR Generalist will build a partnership with leaders by provide consultation, guidance, metrics, support and development to increase the effectiveness of the organzition.

This role will report to the Senior Director, HR Business Partner supporting Cox Business.What Youll DoPlay an integral role in our collaborative HR Business Partner/HR Generalist model, partnering and providing support to HRBPs, as well as our SME teams (Employee Service Center, Strategic HR Solutions, Employment Practices and Delivery, Learning and Workforce Capability and HR Programs Partnership and Development, Talent Acquisition) to deploy solutions directly to the businessUse of Project Management skills to lead projects and influence/obtain buy-in and drive execution and achievement of desired resultsWork directly with our leaders on a variety of tasks ranging from employee relations, performance management and development, compliance with directives/local law, and driving the people strategyDevelops and recommends solutions to a variety of human resources issuesParticipate and lead special projects and best in class initiativesAdvises leaders and employees on employee relations policies and practicesCoaches and consults with leaders to advise and help resolve employee relations issues, including performance issues, disciplinary actions and terminations, employee conflicts, policy violations, etcInvestigates employee issues and complaints and makes recommendations to management to resolve issues to ensure timely and appropriate actions are takenPrepares responses and/or statements to issues related to employee complaintsInterprets and applies programs, policies, and procedures and ensures compliance with state and federal statutes and regulations, if applicable, to include Fair Labor Standards Act, Labor Management Relations Act, Family and Medical Leave Act, Americans with Disabilities Act, etc.; consults with HR Leadership and Legal as neededHelps prepare and guide hiring managers through the hiring process, to include assistance with the requisition/posting process; ensures acquisition of talent aligns with overall talent plansPrepares reports and analyzes data for information reporting and leadership decision-makingFully engage in multiple HR activities in a fast-paced, team environmentExcellent organizational skills, attention to detail and time managementAbility to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentialityAdvanced Excel and PowerPoint skills to manipulate and effectively communicateQualifications:RequiredWhere permitted by applicable law, must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 to be considered for this U.S.
