What You’ll Do
Provide restaurant guests excellent quality butchery services, with consistency in craft and technique, in a timely manner.
Some of your responsibilities include:
Build and maintain a sound working relationship with all preparation personnel.
Report maintenance or repairs needed to the Executive Chef.
Prevent the spoiling and contamination of foods by implementing proper sanitation practices.
Know and comply consistently with our standard portion size, cooking methods, quality standards, kitchen rules, policies and procedures.
Follow departmental policies as well as restaurant rules and regulations.
Provide excellent quality and presentation of all food to the guests.
Maintain a high level of cleanliness in the kitchen facilities.
Assist in the daily cleaning of the prep kitchen, dish area, stairs, walk-in, and butcher’s room and prep area.
We all wear multiple hats here at Kimpton.

You may have to take on responsibilities that are outside of this job post at times, as we all do.
What You Bring
3 years of cooking/butchering experience in restaurant and/or culinary experience in a high-volume, full service restaurant is preferred.
1 year of knife skills, butchery, and basic kitchen equipment knowledge.
Food Handler Certification (if applicable).
Familiar with health requirements, OSHA regulations and Department of Labor regulations as they pertain to all kitchen and restaurant employees.
Ability to multitask in a dynamic fast-paced environment.
Flexible schedule, able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when needed.
