ASSOCIATE, TAX ESCROW

The Associate, Tax Escrow’s responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Loads initial tax records into the servicing system.
- Reviews the documents and gathers all necessary information in order to monitor the status of real estate taxes and ensures timely payments.
- Provides legal descriptions to tax service provider and utilizes their services to obtain information on escrowed loans.
- Prepares vouchers and posts all disbursements for payment of taxes.
- Works with Asset Manager when there is a shortfall in escrow to pay taxes.
- Prepares correspondence relating to tax payments.
- Calculates monthly tax payments from information received.
- Performs escrow analysis at least once annually.
- Follow up for proof of non-escrow tax payments made.
- Complete quarterly reports for tax information on securitized loans
The Associate, Tax Escrow’s Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent of 1-3 years commercial real estate finance
- Proficiency in MS Excel
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
- Attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Must be able to work with and communicate across all functional lines of the Company’s organization
