Job Description & Qualifications

Job Summary
Coordinate the day-to-day activities of a company operation.

Assist in the implementation of policies and procedures, customer/client resolutions and project management.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities
Responsible for assisting department with all administrative functions and special projects to include arranging meetings, answering calls, coordinating documentation logs, assists with on-boarding process, and provide basic data analysis.

Provides and supports managers in administrative functions to include phone coverage, travel arrangements and reporting
Coordinates and arranges meetings at national conventions and internal meetings
Coordinate daily operations of the company or department and its various components, ensuring compliance with company, local, state, and federal policies and regulations
Coordination of all events such as trade shows, grand openings, store events, inter-company events, and supporting hospitality events.

Works directly with event management to ensure the event runs according to plan.

Identify client needs, making calls to various customers.

May perform other duties as assigned.

Nature and Scope
Refers complex, unusual problems to supervisor.

Under general supervision, exercises some judgment in accordance with well-defined policies, procedures, and techniques.

Work typically involves regular review of output by a senior coworker or supervisor.

Work Environment
Located in a comfortable indoor area.

Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.

Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about.

On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

No travel required.

Education and Experience
HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred.

Specialized skills training/certification may be required.

Generally 2-5 years of experience in area of responsibility.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Education, experience and/or interest in social media, brand marketing, and customer communication
  • Strong written communication skills, preferably with an emphasis on effective positioning, content development, and thought leadership content
  • Personal knowledge or professional experience with social networks such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and YouTube
  • Ideally has experience with social media management platforms or marketing automation tools such as Salesforce, Sprinklr, Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Adobe, etc.
  • Ideally has experience with paid campaign management & reporting, community management, and/or social listening
  • Organized and able to work on multiple projects at once
  • Detail-oriented and collaborative
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
