Digital Marketing Specialist

SUMMARYThe Digital Marketing Specialist will be responsible for developing assets for the Credit Union’s digital channels in line with the overall marketing and brand strategy.

As a member of the Marketing Department, the Digital Marketing Specialist is expected to help generate new business for the Credit Union through digital marketing campaigns, while adhering to brand standards in order to build awareness and recognition of the Georgia’s Own brand, its value proposition, and key differentiators.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESCreate, deliver, and edit graphics (static and motion) for the Georgia’s Own Sign, social media, email, website/blog, and other digital channelsAssist in developing and executing engaging digital marketing campaigns that are aligned with business goalsMonitor ROI and KPIs for digital campaignsAssist with website audits and updating/optimizing web content to match brand and SEO standardsCreate digital brand assets for internal use, such as WebEx or desktop backgroundsPerform other related duties as assignedJOB QUALIFICATIONS:Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, Photoshop, and After Effects; knowledge of InDesign and Premiere Pro a plusSolid experience creating static and motion graphics across a variety of digital channelsExperience with visual communication, typography, and graphic design principlesStrong knowledge of current digital media trends and best practicesBasic understanding of HTML/CSSFamiliarity with WordPress or similar content management systemsStrong copywriting experienceProficient use of Microsoft programs, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OutlookAbility to successfully manage multiple projects and perform under tight deadlinesDemonstrate effective, professional communication (both written and verbal) with others in the organization, including the executive leadership teamExcellent project management and organizational skillsSelf-motivated—must be able to work comfortably in both group and individual settingsKnowledge of the credit union industry and its products and services EDUCATIONAL AND WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTSBachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Digital Media, or related field1+ year(s) of relevant work experienceA digital portfolio demonstrating past work experience is requiredPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSTo perform this job successfully, the employee must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily.

All employees must be able to communicate face to face or through technology with or without reasonable accommodation.

Employee will be in an office environment (well-lighted, heated, and air-conditioned) typically stationed at a desk or table.

Employee will be asked to sit and stand for various increments of time, and to lift/push up 10 lbs.

Clerical office duties on various forms of technology are required.
