Digital Advertising Specialist

UPS

This is a Full-time position in Atlanta, GA posted March 23, 2021.

The UPS Global Advertising Team is responsible for driving revenue and increasing brand relevance for the iconic UPS brand. The Digital Advertising Specialist is a key support role on the team and is responsible for various aspects of digital ad campaign management. He/She provides support during the development and execution phases and must be detail oriented with exceptional communication skills. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience working in project management, digital campaigns a plus (both media and creative). This includes coordinating internal timelines, working with stakeholders throughout project duration, writing reports and troubleshooting.

The Specialist will work with multiple channels (across programmatic, paid search and paid social) to ensure efficient, accurate and timely setup of campaigns. He/She is proactive and organized individual who enjoys working in a fast paced environment. The Specialist works with cross-functional teams (i.e. Marketing, Digital Communications) to gain a comprehensive understanding of the campaign. He/She will effectively summarize campaign and channel performance information & trends, using graphs, charts, and text. The Specialist authors and directly presents report findings internally to keep workgroups informed and up-to-date.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Manages a wide variety of creative types (Standard, Rich Media, Native, Video creative, Social, etc.)
  • Provides quality assurance (QA) to any trafficked ad campaigns
  • Monitors campaign activity and pacing to ensure campaigns are running smoothly
  • Learns new technologies and tools as needed (A/B testing, cross-device targeting)
  • Assists team in analyzing and interpreting data for leadership reports

Knowledge and Skills

  • Experience with digital technologies such as Ad Servers, data management platforms, Google AdWords, Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics
  • Applies Problem Solving & Resolution: Identifies key factors behind basic problems, critically assesses situation and establishes a path to solve them
  • Develops Situational Assessments: Establishes and follows a plan to thoroughly vet information collected
  • Must have knowledge of digital media/marketing industry practices
  • Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in project management and/or a digital communications/marketing environment
  • Technical aptitude; strong troubleshooting skills
  • Must have experience drawing insights using data; solid analytical skills
  • Excellent MS Excel skills; good overall skills with Microsoft packages
  • Team player with interpersonal skills
  • Good written English and communication skills
  • Well organized, multi-tasker
  • Bachelor’s Degree (or internationally comparable degree) in Marketing, Advertising or Statistics – Preferred
  • Knowledge of Web Measurement Technologies (ad servers, web analytics platforms) – Preferred
