Tooling Specialist III

This is a Full-time position in Atlanta, GA posted January 7, 2022.

1st shift, 7AM-4PM – MUST ATTEND EHS TRAINING on 1st day and complete.

Job Summary:
The Tooling Coordinator will be responsible to maintain, coordinate, update records, visual inspection, and coordinate shipping to the tooling of warehouse. Tooling Coordinator will update the company databases as appropriate ensuring accurate materials and tooling status. You may be assigned other duties to help proactively drive our FieldCore vision and align with our organization’s core values.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Counting, Inspection and Testing of simple and complex tooling and supplies
o Wrenches, Sockets, Drill Bits, Taps & Dies
o Electrical Tools, Hydraulic Tools, Pneumatic Tools
• Counting of tooling and supplies against a list and keying results into Microsoft Excel or other computer systems
• Inspecting tooling for damage, cracks, sharpness, functionality. Scrapping bad tools and recording loss in Excel or computer systems
• Testing tools for functional acceptance
• Verifying counts for accuracy before ordering materials
• Restocking tool kits in orderly way. Returning counted and ordered tools and supplies to their proper place within the tool kit
• Document Inspections in tracking systems
• Maintain housekeeping of Warehouse to meet EHS standards.
• Maintenance records for kits that have been processed.
• Ensuring that kits are delivered with no quality concerns
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Ability and willingness to work overtime as required
Required Qualifications & Experience:
• Ability to apply Safe working habits
• Working knowledge of hand and mechanical tooling
• Attention to detail
• Ability to focus on repetitive tasks
• Working knowledge of computer and systems including MS Excel
• 2 Years or of some mechanical activities
• Must be able to read and interpret technical manuals

• Familiar with hoisting/rigging equipment, hand tools, and power tools.
• Must be able to perform routine maintenance on equipment and determine maintenance needed which includes determining the proper tools and equipment necessary to complete a job.
• Must have the ability to troubleshoot to determine causes of operating errors and the solutions to resolve the issues.
• Must have the ability to conduct tests and inspect products or processes and evaluate the quality of repairs
