Work Schedule: Wednesday-Sunday 10:00pm-6:30am or until finished. (Nights off are Monday and Tuesday)

An Operations Clerk position is the first step in a rewarding career in financial services. You’ll learn about payment processing and the financial services industry. This is a high-volume, fast-paced, deadline driven production environment working behind the scenes with little, if any, customer contact. In this role you’ll be operating electronic or mechanical equipment to process daily work. Performing general clerical operations tasks that are routine and/or repetitive in nature. Duties may include: receiving, logging, batching and/or distributing work; filing, photocopying, faxing, taking phone messages, preparing and distributing incoming and/or outgoing mail or boxes; verifying or matching data on documents and/or items; performing simple data entry tasks; compiling simple data; performing routine math calculations. You’ll be working under close supervision following established procedures.

This position has strict production metrics that determine acceptable levels of performance and requires that all payments (checks) must be accounted for on the day they are received. There are also strict deadlines requiring flexibility of schedule, as this is an open-ended position, with the start and end time determined by workflow. The best Operations Clerks demonstrate strong attention to detail, organizational skills, ability to follow procedures, and basic computer knowledge. They have the desire and motivation to constantly improve their ability to perform each function quickly and accurately. Mailroom Support when needed.

The working environment is fun with a casual dress code in a highly secure facility.

Required Qualifications

  • 6+ months of experience meeting deadlines in a business or office environment demonstrated through work or military experience

  • Ability to navigate multiple computer systems, applications, and utilize search tools to find information
  • Good communication skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot equipment and perform basic maintenance and repairs
  • Mailroom opening, sorting, and distribution experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of mail room, imaging, or document control
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
  • Ability to work effectively under direct supervision and follow specific guidelines
  • Ability to work in a fast paced deadline driven environment
