Human Resources Manager

Superior Essex

This is a Full-time position in Atlanta, GA posted March 28, 2021.

ESSENTIAL PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION:
To participate in the development and implementation of plans and/or programs to ensure the most effective utilization of human resources in support of Communication Division objectives, within the framework of the organization’s overall corporate policies, plans and programs. It requires generalized knowledge and involvement in all specialized areas of human resources. Adapts and implements broader organization policies.
Responsible for supporting the human resources function for the corporate office and other remote locations, as needed, including: employment practices, employee relations, safety administration, training, affirmative action, compensation and benefit administration, community and employee involvement programs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provides administration of personnel policies and practices along with employee training and orientation program for assigned location.
• Assures implementation/administration of compensation and benefit programs.
• Works with management to plan and implement programs to meet human resource requirements supporting short-and long-term business needs.
• Provides employee relations and corrective action counsel for managers at assigned location.
• Implements effective safety and employee relations programs.
• Recruits for open position
• Other duties as assigned

SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

• Excellent written and oral communication skills
COMPUTER EQUIPMENT AND SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS:

• Microsoft office
• ADP Vantage Recruitment System preferred

• EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Preferred; BA in Human Resources, Psychology or similar field.

• Minimum of three years’ experience as a HR generalist or five years’ experience as an HR Admin.

• Preferred HR Certification
