Contract Recruiter (1099, hourly)

Overview

We are currently in search of a Contract Recruiter (hourly, 1099) who will provide full lifecycle recruiting support remotely, to our growing GovCon clients. I n this role you’ll report directly to the Director of Recruiting, and will be responsible for full lifecycle talent acquisition efforts in support of our many DoD and highly cleared projects. Responsibilities

  • Provide full lifecycle talent acquisition and recruiting support that you’re proud of, to include:
    • sourcing candidates, often creatively, in the cleared space
    • screening candidates and applicants, providing detailed write-ups of the phone interview you conduct
    • submitting candidates to our Clients and partners, often inside their ATS
    • shepherding and coordinating candidate interviews
    • coordinating, and administrating the closing and offer stage
    • ensuring a smooth candidate transition and onboarding experience

Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in any field
    • Federal and DoD recruiting experience, specifically in the cleared space (Secret through FSP)
    • 6+ years as a Recruiter or Contract Talent Acquisition Specialist or Consultant (1099)
    • Knowledge of sourcing strategies and creative candidate identification strategies
    • 6+ years of experience with government contract recruiting, including an understanding of contract vehicles and contract lifecycles
    • Expertise in candidate market insights; deriving market insight reports and leaning on them in order to support your suggestions to our Clients
    • Experience working within an ATS, specifically iCIMS preferred

Job Requirements:

  • Enter candidates into ATS (iCIMS).
  • Track candidates through the recruiting lifecycle/process.
  • Identify qualified candidates through various recruiting tools (you’ll have to bring your own tools to the role).
  • Implement recruiting and sourcing strategies for attracting and recruiting candidates in the highly cleared space.
  • Provide hiring managers with qualified candidates.
  • Recommend new sources for recruiting candidates.
  • Present qualified and screened candidates to hiring managers and Clients.
  • Identify qualified candidates through various recruiting and sourcing methods
  • Develop recruiting strategies to attract highly qualified candidates
