nn NETWORK SUPPORT ENGINEER CAREER OPPORTUNITY nn nnOur client who is a Managed Service provider is seeking an experienced Network Support Engineer.

This position is responsible for customer-facing technical support of client information technology equipment and hosted services.

This role will engage with clients via email, ticket management system(s), and telephone to resolve incidents and requests.nn nn n nn nn NETWORK SUPPORT ENGINEER ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES nn Responsible for the resolution of incidents and/or requests Perform network and provider service troubleshooting Update client documentation to reflect the current status of the client environment and associated services Manage all assigned service tickets to ensure services are delivered within contractual service levels nn n nn nn NETWORK SUPPORT ENGINEER REQUIRED SKILLS nn Strong knowledge of enterprise-level networking and security solutions Strong knowledge of carrier, cloud, and other service provider unified communication and networking services Strong knowledge of IP networking and routing protocols (EIGRP, BGP, and OSPF) Ability to multi-task and provide high levels of customer service in a fast-paced environment Competent and professional written and verbal communication skills Willingness to work a flexible schedule Positive attitude toward both individual and team environments Ability to read and follow documents such as operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals Coordinates and performs maintenance and migration activities Demonstrates professional customer-facing communication skills Drives incident resolution with vendor resources and internal teammates Proactively finds opportunities to improve departmental effectiveness Create incident and problem documentation, including reason for outage (RFO) documents Handle escalations from clients and teammates Provide technical mentoring with the Managed Services team nn n nn nn NETWORK SUPPORT ENGINEER QUALIFICATIONS nn 5+ years of experience in the network industry 5+ years of experience at a Managed Service provider or multi-tenant services environment CCNA / CCNP or equivalent certifications (HP, Fortinet, Juniper, etc.) required Ability to work flexible hours as needed Ability to work in a team environment and communicate with customers in a professional manner Working knowledge of ConnectWise Manage and Logic Monitor a plus Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred nn nn
