Senior Accountant (Contract)

A growing manufacturing company that we work with in Atlanta looking for an immediate need temp Senior Accountant (can also be contract to hire). The role is working remote until it is safe to return to the office (so ideally someone who can be flexible and lives in the Atlanta area). Our client is located in Buckhead and the target compensation is $30-$40.

Importantly this role is to cover a maternity leave. We will be scheduling interviews with our client on 3-24 for an anticipate 4-12 start for this 3-6 month project.

Job Functions

• Assist with month-end closing schedules, journal entries
• Handle bank and account reconciliations
• Assist with monthly general ledger account and variance analyses
• Provide assistance for external audit
• Utilize JD Edwards (JDE) and Excel for accounting purposes

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related (e.g., Finance) with Corporate Accounting experience required
• Intermediate Excel skills required; Blackline experience preferred
• Experience working with large data-set reconciliations preferred
• ERP experience required (larger type ERP such as Oracle, SAP, JDE, Dynamics etc)
• Experience working for a manufacturing company a plus but not required
