We are seeking a Senior Accountant who will work with other Greenlight finance team members and other Greenlight employees on various challenging assignments.

The successful Senior Accountant will be passionate about helping Greenlight’s fully-cycle business decision-to-pay process and willing to grow into new areas of accounting operation.

This role will report to the Director of Accounting.

What you will be doing:

• Perform day-to-day bookkeeping function on cash and fixed assets, ensuring accurate entries in the accounting system, and follow up on any unusual transactions
• Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close process
• Prepare and maintain account reconciliations for balance sheet accounts as assigned
• Participate in various ad-hoc projects that include data validation, system implementation, etc.
• Partner with cross-functional business partners and AP Manager to manage and improve existing accrual and close processes 
• Perform variation analysis and document meaningful explanations for variances.

• Support various financial reporting preparation
• Support external audit requirements related to specific areas of responsibility.

What you should bring:

• Willingness to roll up your sleeves!!!
• Experience in corporate month end/quarter end closing cycle
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting
• 5-7 years of accounting experience including public accounting experience
• Proficiency with NetSuite (other ERP system), Expensify, Bill.Com or any other advanced accounting solutions
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, with the ability to manipulate and digest large amounts of data required
• Strong written and verbal communications skills
• Team player who works well independently and with others
• Excellent time and self-management skills, ability to prioritize
