Project Accountant

A luxury home builder headquartered in West Midtown has an immediate need for a Project Accountant.

This company has been active for over 17 years and offers a small office work environment and great work-life balance and a fun professional team. The Project Accountant will be an integral part of the company interacting with project managers, clients, and vendors regularly.

Job Requirements:

Responsibilities:

• Coding and entering complex Accounts Payables to construction software
• Analyzing budget to actual on projects 
• Researching and communicating variances as needed with managers, vendors, and clients. 
• Assistant Accounting Manager with reconciliations and month-end as needed
• Assist with Purchase Contracts, pre- and post-closing packages, and documentation
• Process packages for project and home construction starts
• Provide project support and assistance as needed

Required:

• Degree strongly preferred
• 2+ years experience in project management or accounts payable. 
• Experience with QuickBooks and/or Buildertrend is a plus
• Great customer service attitude
