Responsibilities
Managing Consultants own client engagements from cultivation to completion. In this role, you will be accountable for the activities of the project team and support the day-to-day management of the client relationship. You are expected to effectively develop and manage work plans, staffing, deadlines and budgets for multiple complex projects simultaneously. Work products are expected to be high-quality and client-ready. In this visible role, you will lead team meetings, and guide, manage, and coach consultants and senior consultants, providing constructive feedback on project participation and overall career development. Managing Consultants work closely with Directors and Managing Directors to keep them abreast of project progress and important developments. Managing Consultants support sales initiatives and practice development.

Specific Responsibilities for this role include:
? Analyze and model wide variety of provider side financial performance
? Understand the key drivers of financial performance in both a FFS and Value-Based settings
? Be able to build and understand full, enterprise wide financial models including balance sheet and cash flow implications
? Incorporate market forecasts and scenario planning in financial analysis
? Develop client-facing deliverables and present results both internally and externally (in person and via video-conferencing)
? Meaningfully contribute to nationwide business development and relationship management activities for Guidehouse
? Set meeting agendas, project schedules, incorporate client feedback as needed/appropriate
? Multi-task on several projects over a given week, sometimes with widely varying scopes
Qualifications
Required:
? Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university
? Excellent quantitative analysis skills
? Demonstrated excellence in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, as well as the ability to conduct research
? 3+ years FP&A (Financial Planning and Analysis) experience within healthcare, including demonstrated financial and analytical skills
? Understanding of healthcare finance principles and vocabulary on both the payer and provider side
? Strong written and verbal communication skills (both internally and externally)
? Ability to travel (25%)
Preferred:
? Master’s Degree from an accredited university
? Track record of efficiency, flexibility, creative problem-solving, self-motivated, analytical and highly-organized
? Proven ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively within team structures
? Entrepreneurial spirit and excitement toward promoting Guidehouses growing healthcare practice
