Contract GL Accountant

nn SAGE Staffing has partnered with a midsize construction firm in their search for a contract GL Accountant .

Our client needs a clean-up/reconciliation specialist to assist with GL clean-up .

This role will be 100% remote and requires the ability to work independently with little to no training.

GL Accountant must have experience in an accounting clean-up role and 5+ years of general accounting experience.

Intermediate to advanced excel (pivot tables/VLOOKUP).

Must be able to start immediately and commit to the duration of assignment.

nn nn nn nn DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES: nn nn
· 5+ years of GL accounting experience nn nn
· 5+ years of bank account and GL reconciliations nn nn
· Month-end close accounting nn nn
· Post journal entries and adjusting entries nn nn
· GL clean-up, balance sheet reconciliations nn nn
· Creating and Booking journal entries nn nn nn nn nn nn nn n n Job Requirements: n nn REQUIREMENTS: nn nn
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting nn nn
· 5+ years progressive accounting experience nn nn
· Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel required nn nn
· SAGE ERP strongly preferred nn nn
